Interview Training

Depending on the job, you might not need to wear full formal office wear but it should always be smart, clean and professional. Dress slightly smarter than you think you need to – better to be slightly overdressed than look unprofessional. Have your outfit ready and ironed the night before. You don’t want to realize at the last minute that your favorite shirt is crumpled in the laundry basket!

Double-check the time and location of the interview. Plan your route and aim to arrive at least 10 minutes early, so if you do get stuck in traffic, or miss your bus, you should still be on time.

And remember – they are hoping your interview will be a positive experience and that you will both want to work together. They need someone to join their team so they want you to succeed. It is totally normal to be a little nervous. Just take a deep breath and try to remember that you both want the same thing.
